Room Safe Instructions
Welcome to your room safe! These safe’s can only have one code at a time. If you happen to forget your code, we have a master key designated for your room that only a manager has access to and is strictly enforced. Your code can be a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 8 characters, we highly recommend using a code with at least 3 digits. Set your code:
- Step 1 – Open the safe
- Step 2 – Think of a code you will remember and write it down if needed. After your new code, you will need a “#” symbol (ex. _ _ _ _ _#)
- Step 3 – locate and press the green “Learn/Reset” button on the door hinge
- Step 4 – Once the yellow indicator light flashes and beeps twice, you are ready to enter your safe code. The yellow indicator light will remain on while you enter your code.
- Step 5 – Ensure the yellow indicator flashes and beeps twice to confirm your code was accepted
*If the yellow indicator light flashes 5 times and remains on, your code has been rejected and you will need to try a new one. Follow steps 2-5 again
Confirm Code before locking:
– After completing steps 1-5, test your new combination, with the safe door open!
- Enter your new combination
- Once the green lights flash, turn the dial clockwise to retract locking bolts
- Your safe is now programmed and ready for use
Lock your safe
- Close the door and turn the keypad dial counterclockwise to lock your safe
Upon Check out
- We will be sad to see you go, but when you do – please leave your safe open so the codes can be reset for the next guest
